Front Desk Representative
FMG Center is looking for a friendly and professional Front Desk Representative to join our team! As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient experience in our office. The ideal candidate is organized, patient-focused, and comfortable handling payments while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Greet and assist patients with check-in and check-out
✔ Work closely with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
✔ Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information
✔ Handle billing, collections, and payment processing
✔ Maintain a clean, safe, and professional front office environment
Qualifications:
✅ High school diploma or GED required (Medical Assistant certification preferred)
✅ Minimum of 2 years experience in a medical office setting
✅ Strong communication skills in English (with additional Spanish skills preferred)
✅ Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes
✅ Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations

Certified Medical Assistant
At Family Medicine & Geriatric Center, we believe that Teamwork is the key to success. The Clinical Staff / MA works with the physician, non-physician, and general staff to maximize efficient patient flow through the office. Under the supervision and guidance of the supervisors and physician, the Clinical Staff / MA is responsible for assisting with direct patient services and care. The staff helps to provide and maintain a pleasant, calm, safe, and warm environment for patients.
Work will include components of direct patient care, observation, documentation, and general maintenance of the patient environment. The staff is responsible for maintaining his or her own clinical and mandatory education requirements; and for meeting the established standards of their profession, as well as those accountable for his/her practice. Clinical Stadd / MA will complete assigned duties, provide patient care, and serve as an advocate for patients and families seeking medical care.
Position Qualifications:
✔ High School graduate or G.E.D. certificate required.
✔ Graduated from an accredited Clinical / MA program preferred.
✔ Must be able to be sensitive to cultural and bilingual issues.
✔ Good written and verbal communication skills required.
✔ Ability to read, write, and speak English required; ability to speak and understand Spanish is beneficial.
✔ Ability to communicate clearly with patients, families, co-workers, and physicians.
Job Experience:
✅ One (1) year of continuous work experience in a physician office setting is preferred.
✅ Must be knowledgeable in medical terminology.
✅ Presents a pleasant, neat appearance.
✅ Has the ability to interact with all levels of staff, physicians, patients, and families in a courteous manner.
✅ Exhibits tact, enthusiasm, and patience.
✅ Must have excellent customer service skills.
✅ Must have good organizational and communication skills.
✅ Must be able to handle all different types of office equipment, i.e., copy machine, faxes, printers etc.
